Learned how to do power cleans. Slowly, I am learning all the lifts, or going to at least. Power clean was the first one I learned, I did 135lbs with ease first try. I weigh about 142, so I must have been doing something right in my strength training, but I’d like to be able to power clean 170 – 185 so thats something I definitely need to work on. Tomorrow I’m going to learn Front Squat or something like that.
I’ve never really did weight training. I’ve benched maybe, 2 to 5 reps before total. I still don’t feel like bench press is all the useful for wrestling but maybe it is, but to me big lats, strong core, strong legs and tough as nails conditioning is the way to go, but maybe I’m wrong, any thoughts?
