Yesterday was a rest day, but I experimented with muscles up on a bar. I’m getting close to being able to do them, going to start doing some weighted pull ups and weighted dips. Hopefully, they should help.

Anyway, I’m not sure how to write today’s workout down. I got it from an Enter The Kettlebell workbook, its 3 ladders with 3 rungs of Clean and Press and wide grip pull ups.

Its like you do 1 C&P left, 1 C&P right, 1  pull up, 2 C&P left, 2 C&P right, 2 pull up, 3 C&P left, 3 C&P right, 3 pull ups. And then you repeat it twice so you do it a total of three times. After that I did 2 x 25 swings.

Good little workout, not too hard but not too easy. I’m excited for wrestling season. I want to dominate. I read a blog called Wrestling for Gable, I wish I was Todd Tarpley.  Being able to wrestle that much with guys like Barry Davis, Tom and Terry Brands, Zeke Jones, Randy Lewis, etc, etc two to three times a day 5 – 7 days a week. I’d love it. I can only imagine how great I would be by the time the season came. After high school, I’d like to wrestle in college. In college my goal is to become a Multiple time National Champ in the NAIA or any Division. I hope that one day I get the opportunity to wrestle for someone like Gable, the Brands brothers or Cael Sanderson.  Its important for me to improve and wrestle well these next two seasons and take advantage of camps and the coaches willingness to help me be the best wrestler I can be, and continually improve through college to hopefully one day wrestle for NLWC or HWC. None of this will come without a lot of perseverance and hard work, dedication, sacrifice and commitment.

I’ve also learned who I most likely will wrestle off for the varsity position at 138 next year on our team. His name is Cruz.  He has wrestled since he was a Freshman and will be a senior this year. He’s good with cradles. But he tires in the third period. I plan to wrestle him like every body else this season. I’m going to go out looking for low singles out of the tie but I’m going to be very aggressive mostly looking for a tie up, I’ll stay in good position – solid stance, hands up and defensive and I’ll make him put his hands on me first and I’ll get inside control and look for an ankle pick or sweep single, possibly a high crotch if its there.  I just want to wear everyone out in the first period. You know, break them. Make them not want to wrestle me anymore. I want to destroy anything in my path. Choke anyone who I catch in a front headlock, rip their legs off when I get to them, drive them into another state when I shoot. I don’t know how to describe it as anything else besides I just want to dominate.
